Storage Instructions
Store DIPLOMÁTICOS No2 (25) in a properly maintained humidor to preserve aroma and burn characteristics. Aim for a relative humidity between 65% and 70% for the best balance of oiliness and draw. Keep the temperature stable between 68ºF and 70ºF 20ºC and 21ºC to avoid rapid expansion or contraction of the wrapper leaves. If you plan to age these Cuban made cigars for several months or years keep them in their original cedar box inside the humidor when possible. Use a Spanish cedar lined humidor or quality travel humidor for short trips. Two way humidity packs are a practical option for smaller humidors or single boxes, and always season a new humidor before adding cigars.
Care Tips
Handle DIPLOMÁTICOS No2 (25) gently to preserve the wrapper and prevent handling marks. Avoid pinching or rolling the cigar between your fingers. When preparing to smoke, use a sharp guillotine cutter or a punch for a clean opening and toast the foot evenly before drawing. After transport allow the cigars to rest in the humidor for 24 to 72 hours to fully acclimate. These cigars respond well to aging and will develop greater complexity over 6 to 24 months or longer if you prefer a more mellow profile. If you plan to enjoy them soon after purchase a short rest of 1 to 4 weeks will harmonize flavors and ensure a steady burn. Keep them away from direct sunlight strong odors and sudden temperature changes to maintain their fresh character.

Mid-palate notes of bittersweet cocoa and espresso intertwine with a fine black-pepper spice and toasted almond, while a subtle honeyed sweetness rounds the finish. Aromas of toasted oak, damp earth and faint floral tobacco perfume rise from the wrapper, enhancing the cigar’s complexity and leaving a lingering, creamy retrohale. Pairing Suggestions
Aged dark rum (añejo), its molasses and spice notes mirror the cigar’s cocoa and pepper, while the rum’s smooth warmth amplifies the leathery backbone. Intense espresso or ristretto, the coffee’s concentrated bitterness and crema cut through the cigar’s richness and accentuate roasted and chocolate nuances. 70%+ dark chocolate or a small square of nutty, aged cheese, the chocolate highlights the cigar’s cocoa-laced mid-palate and the cheese adds a savory counterpoint that plays beautifully with the tobacco’s oak and almond notes.
