The Davidoff Aniversario Short Perfecto cigar is handcrafted. The wrapper is made from Connecticut-type leaves with a smooth texture thanks in part to the absence of veins. These leaves, from tobacco plants grown in Ecuador, are colorado claro (light brown to golden). The other parts of the cigar – filler and binder – are made exclusively with Dominican tobacco.
The strength of the Davidoff Short Perfecto cigar ranges from mild-medium to medium. In terms of taste, this is a complex cigar. Its aromatic panel harmoniously blends a peppery note, a spicy note, the smell of grass, the scent of black pepper, the taste of hazelnut, the scent of leather and a slight salty flavor. The final third ends with an earthy nuance and a touch of spice. Clearly, Davidoff likes to venture into unusual combinations of scents and flavors.
